This includes types in which traditional Surrogacy is involved that uses the surrogate’s own egg making her the biological mother that’s why this surrogacy is banned. Another type is Gestational Surrogacy, it includes the intended parents’ egg and sperm (or donor’s) are used, so the surrogate is not biologically related to the baby. This form of surrogacy is mostly used.

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF): IVF is a process where eggs are taken from a woman’s ovaries and fertilized with sperm in a lab. The fertilized egg (embryo) is then placed in the woman’s uterus to grow into a baby.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI): IUI is a simpler fertility treatment where healthy sperm is directly placed into a woman’s uterus during ovulation to increase the chance of pregnancy.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI): ICSI is a type of IVF where a single sperm is directly injected into an egg to help fertilization, mainly used when the sperm quality is low.

Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA): TESA is a procedure where sperm is taken directly from the testicles using a small needle. It is used when a man has no sperm in his semen.

Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (PESA): PESA is a method to collect sperm from the epididymis (a tube behind the testicles) using a small needle. It helps men who have a blockage preventing sperm release.

Microsurgical Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (MESA): MESA is a surgical method to extract sperm from the epididymis using a microscope. It gives better quality sperm and is used for men with severe infertility issues.
