About Dr. Anupama

Dr. Anupama is a highly qualified and experienced gynecologist and IVF specialist in Nepal. She completed her MBBS from Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital and pursued her MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Bharatpur.

Following her residency, Dr. Anupama was invited to serve as a lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital and Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital, where she contributed significantly to the training of aspiring doctors.

Advanced Training and Fellowships

Dr. Anupama’s passion for reproductive medicine led her to pursue a fellowship in IVF and Gynecology Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy from Rainbow IVF, Agra, India. This course provided hands-on training in IUI, IVF/ART, ultrasonography, laparoscopy, and hysteroscopy. She also holds a Diplomate Certificate from the Ian Donald School, having completed a one-year Obstetrics and Gynecology ultrasound course in Delhi, India.

To further refine her expertise, Dr. Anupama undertook observership training in Natural IVF and Minimal Stimulation IVF under the guidance of renowned German IVF specialist, Dr. Markus Nitchzke.

Professional Experience

With over a decade of experience, Dr. Anupama has made a significant impact in the field of infertility and reproductive medicine. She initially worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist in various private health centers. Her dedication to women’s health extended beyond hospitals, as she actively participated in health camps across rural Nepal, performing numerous vaginal hysterectomies for village patients suffering from uterovaginal prolapse.

Dr. Anupama transitioned her focus entirely to infertility and IVF, joining Grande City Hospital in Nepal as an IVF specialist, where she helped numerous couples achieve parenthood. Currently, she practices as an IVF specialist at Venus IVF Center, where she remains one of the few genuinely trained doctors in the field of infertility in Nepal.

Dr. Anupama believes in staying updated with the latest advancements in gynecology and reproductive medicine. She has attended numerous national and international conferences, where she has also presented her work and received recognition. Her contributions include several publications and scientific abstracts on obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive medicine.
